No it's not just luck, cause I made a sacrifice
I play a constant game of "how many voice overs can I squeeze into a video" and let me tell you I'd put more in if I could *sigh* I have no self restraint..
The first 50 seconds took 3 weeks. The rest, I did in one day after s5 aired. And I spent around 2 weeks just staring at that blank space there and not having the faintest clue about what to do with it.
A little explanation: I picked this song not because what 'sacrifice' means by default.
I wanted to use it in two ways, kind of contradictiory - at the beginning to say what they sacrified to try to achieve their goals: Catra sacrificing her good side in order to gain power; Adora hurting her friends with her sacrifices not realizing how she has the responsibility to stay, how she can hurt them by becoming a slave to the 'greater good'.
Then comes a turning point when they're forced to face the consequences of their actions. Catra: she hurt people and and has to overcome her fear of rejection in order to grow. Sacrifice her toxic pride to ask for help and affection. Adora: she has to sacrifice her constant desire to put literaly everyone else in front of her own needs. Realize how much it can hurt others in the process. Learn how sacrificing one's self can be the easier way sometimes, and it is harder to chose to fight for what she wants instead. To stay.
So, in a nutshell. Sacrificing their good traits to achieve their goals vs. sacrificing the need to prioritize those goals, to grow and regain the good traits. In the end, they achieve a balance, together.
I'm super into overanalyzing everything if you couldn't tell it by now lmao
I think I needed to write that down for it to make sense for me too.
But yeah, I liked this way of twisitng around the meaning of this word.
Why am I not talking about season 5? This box is not large enough for me. I'd write essays, novels, BOOKS about how perfect it all was. Catra's redemption, Adora's journey, the best friend squad coming together, Bow and Glimmer, yess, Wrong Hordak, protect him at all cost. The music, the costume designs, the voice acting.... The whole thing was funny, heartfelt, angst-filled, well paced, and most importantly about, and made with LOVE. It is everything that I didn't know I could want from a show like this. From any show, any piece of media. For the creators, anyone who took part in creating this: thank you so, very much.

What do I do when I have three open projects and only little time to vid? I start a new one! Someone please tell me how this inspiration thing works because I really dont understand sometimes...
Anyway! I know its a short vid, but I focused on the effects rather than the length. It was almost completely done on a train (I cant sleep when Im traveling so I spent the time productively yay!) and now I just dont have the time and frankly dont really want to make it longer anyway.
After tonights episode be prepared for a Regina-Snow or Oulaw Queen vid! Itll depend on the episode, really. Ill try to make it as fast as I can and probably upload it next week.

YAY another Agent Carter video!! *pats on shoulder* (there there, nice job, now calm down girl.)
I just loved the dream/dance sequence so much in episode 9! The song itself was awesome, the choreography was awesome and ANGIE. I dont care if it was only like 2 minutes but she was baaaack. Also Daniel has some dance moves, damn.
Though this season has been darker than s1, the parts I enjoyed the most were the funny/sarcastic ones (except of course when Jarvis goes to revenge Ana, man James DArcy is something else. He can literllay play any role and sometimes many roles in one episode. Anyway. OH YES and Ana my other lovely little Hungarian bird, if anyone ever hurts her again Ill personally hunt them down. Leave the poor thing be, damnit.) So yeah I still wanted to vid something fun. I love electro swing and this song very much, so when I realized how well it goes with AC I started vidding right away.
One more episode to go! Sit tight you guys, its gonna be an epic ending ;)

Alright, first of all WTF that opening dream sequence was intense! Very emotional and beautiful but scary and creepy as hell too. I have to say I rewatched it a couple of dozen times already and just.... what. the. actual. hell. Thank you writers, but itll take some time for me to process it all.
All in all I loved this ep! It was creepy a bit and yeah thats unusual on Once, but I think it worked. Josh did a fantastic job, especially the evil!Charming fear-self part was brilliant. The Rapunzel storyline was a bit weak for me, but since she was only a sidestory for Charmings quest I think I can understand it.
I chose an instrumental song because I wanted to use many voiceovers, but I was kinda impressed that it turned out epic-ish at the end. Like, its not a sad or angry vid, it has this epic-ish atmosphere? I really dont know another work to describe it. Does that even make sense? Probably not. *shrugs* ANYWAY first time in a while that I liked what I made. *self-five*
AHH okay Im still not over this scene, gotta go back and watch it.... again.
