I was working on a pinball machine on location at a movie theater and it occurred to me to do a video on this really important diagnostic element of these games. When you've got the playfield up for a game, see if you notice any screws or playfield parts in the cabinet - always clear them out so you can tell if something new appears. This is often a sign of a mechanism that's vibrated and is starting to come apart. If you see a bolt or screw, try to find out where it came from and you can often catch parts of the game that are starting to break, but haven't broken yet - and fix them before things get worse.
