This sliding cat was first modeled in the computer, and then traced frame by frame with pencil onto a single sheet of paper.

Since pencil can never be fully erased, little remnants of each frame continually build up as the animation plays. It’s a cool look, and it saves paper : )

Also, I just had to include an inverted version because light lines on dark backgrounds are always so pretty.
