Nearly a year after we first showcased Rumbleminze's SNES adaptation of the original Castlevania, development is still moving forward. The latest build introduces an optional 16-bit graphics mode, showing that work on the project has continued behind the scenes.
One of the biggest visual updates is Simon's redesigned sprite, featuring his blonde look inspired by Castlevania II: Simon's Quest and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The environments and enemy sprites have also been reworked with added detail, giving the game a more refined and vibrant presentation.
