This is basically a reference video for the glitch FAQ I'm updating. It's been known that you can save your 2nd jump for latter sections of trick jumps. But I've only now started to explore it in more depth, and it turns out you can get some good height fast, with this Backwards High Jump.

Points of interest:
1. If you jump once (or a half-launch) to the direction you want, while turning you back to that same direction. If you then do a Direct Air Attack, Avalanche Punch, Area Air Attack...doing your second jump backwards will send you quite high over walls.
This sequence must be done fluidly, to carry-over your rising momentum. You can – of course – keep going higher before finishing with a Backwards Jump, which makes for a decent finisher.
2. I consider this to be a bona fide High Jump technique, since it not only gets the same height as some medium jumps that would require Holy Water bottles. But you can also bound over walls quite fast, and do some dynamic platforming manoeuvres such as changing directions suddenly mid-jump.
3. This technique can also skip triggers around the levels, including enemy-appearance triggers. And triggers like the timer at the Clockwork Tower, allowing you to beat the clock since it never begins.
I wonder if triggers that load level sections can be skipped...possibly allowing new out-of-bounds glitches?

(a) Swamp Troll skip v4
(b) Sword Battle skip v3
(c) Enchanted Forest skip v2
(d) Ogre + Chupacabra skip v2
