In this foundry session, I test out the upgrades to the soap dish mold from the last video, and give my new round stock mold a try. I was able to cast 12 bars of 1-1/16" scrap-grade aluminum with relative success! I think the new mold could use some work to make it easier to operate though, that thing is heavy! As for the soap dish mold, its final fate awaits to be seen.
