More aluminum bronze casting. I can't seem to stay away from it. It's so shiny :-D This is a mix of history, molding technique and molten metal. I spend a fair amount of time setting up and explaining the sprue/runner/feeder/gate system and intersperse it all with fun historical tidbits about the famous 1869 joining of railroads in the US from the east and the west.
