A film of myself & my brother Mario's visit with our father back to his birthplace, San Michele in Cassino, this included a reunion of immigrants & descendants of immigrants who had left San Michele years before. The day started with a meal & get together in Portella & then a party fantastically put on by the locals in San Michele. We also enjoyed a very special trip the next day up to the Abbazia di Monte Cassino & then a flying visit to Roma on our last day. This was book-ended with a get together with all the family in Ennis, Co. Clare.
Thanks to my brother Mario, Carolina, EJ, Catherine & others for their footage & photos that helped me put this wee film together. Oh! & a huge thank-you to Ralph Fionda for taking us to Papa's birthplace, it was hugely appreciated.
