As I work on new stuff for Cassie & the Wolf I've been reflecting a lot on the old. Yesterday I decided to open the file for Cassie's old rig for the first time in over 2 years and man, I was honestly sort of shocked! It had only been my second ever rig, so I applaud myself for trying to be ambitious with certain things, but at the same time it was wayyyy more broken than I remembered it being haha. In this video even you can see a lot of problematic elements, such as the eyes being super inconvenient to work with, the arm not being properly connected when moved, her hoodie pocket not being flexible enough... the list goes on. I always just figured that because it was only me on the project I would just deal with it being broken in those ways, lol.
I've definitely learned a lottttt since. I'm pleased to say her new rig is coming together, and her new design is a massive improvement from this one that I made back in 2020! Excited to share more updates to my page soon, but in the meantime if you want more WIPs and stuff you can pledge to my Patreon, link in bio. All donations go towards project costs!
I'm Chloe, an indie creator working hard on my own animated series. A like, share, or follow would be super appreciated!
