I scored a complete-in-box Casio VZ-1 Interactive Phase Distion / FM / Frequency Modulation digital synthesizer. It's been nearly seven years since I last used a VZ, but the muscle memory came right back and I whipped up this brand new pad that simulates an analogue filter via the Tremelo effect.
This synthesizer is absurdly powerful, and is basically a supercharged DX7 once you know how to program it.
This patch used six of the eight available operators, with velocity sensitivity on the Tremelo amount so you can dial in the amount of "filter" on the fly.

A new track composed using only a Casio HZ-600 synthesizer. Its all sequenced and multi-tracked, but some manual filter tweaking is present. Only reverb and delay were used, so youre pretty much hearing this synthesizer raw.")
