I set myself a challenge, to recreate the ambient sound effects of a vintage PC cold booting using only FL Studio. Aside from the button press, every sound in this project is synthesised using only the 3xOSc with some EQ and filter to get a realistic sound.
The hardest sound to recreate, by far, was the floppy disk drive. You need to get the pitch and crunch of its stepper motor just right else it sounds very fake and slightly melodic.

A new track composed using only a Casio HZ-600 synthesizer. Its all sequenced and multi-tracked, but some manual filter tweaking is present. Only reverb and delay were used, so youre pretty much hearing this synthesizer raw.")
