I carved a barstool out of cedar 6x6s using an angle grinder. I glued 4 pieces of cedar 6x6 and carved them to make a barstool for my new kitchen island. The kitchen island video is coming in a month or 2 and I got to carve 2 more barstools and I am going to try different methods for each.

Tools
Ryobi Angle Grinder

Ryobi Reciprocating Saw

Both of these carving discs brands are great.
