Every gardener you talk to will tell you that you can't transplant carrots. They'll tell you you can only direct sow your seeds after the last frost. Well, I'm here to tell you, you CAN grow your seedlings way ahead of the last frost and GET A HUGE JUMP START from everyone direct seeding.
You can do this using WINTER SOWING technique (details below) In this video I show you my big reveal of the carrot seedlings I grew in the snow in March! I will then take these seedlings and transplant them as a whole into their final home, which in my case is a container, a 5 gallon bucket. You can also transplant them into the ground or into raised beds,
