Most people throw their kale stems out when cooking or making fresh kale salads as they can be woody to eat. I saved a bunch of them and juiced them to see how much juice I was really getting and to see if it was worth saving them. Watch to see what I found!
The nutrition in kale and kale stems is remarkable. Kale is jam-packed with some of the most powerfully healing micronutrients in any food. Kale is a cruciferous vegetable from the brassica family. I also added red cabbage stems and cauliflower stems to the juice!
