Copperhead Strike is the new for 2019 double launch coaster from Mack Rides, located in Carowinds in the USA.
Copperhead Strike is the first double launch roller coaster in the Carolinas. The ride begins with a jo-jo roll inversion as it leaves the station. After pausing in Granny's moonshine factor, the ride takes off at an incredible 0 to 42 miles per hour in just 2.5 seconds. Riders are flipped upside down 4 more times through a number of different inversions -- the most of any double launch coaster in North America. Midway through the ride, a second thrust of acceleration launches riders into the next half of the exciting experience.
It's sure to be an exciting ride in the dark during Scarowinds.
It's the biggest Mack Rides coaster in North America and its popularity surely means more will follow.
