The Carnival of Venice, performed by Timofei Dokshizer (1921 - 2005)
In my opinion, this rare recording is arguably the most joyous performance of this centerpiece of trumpet repertoire. Timofei had the highest musical standards of any musician I've had the pleasure of knowing. He made every note he played personal. Please enjoy.
