Cara is the Council for at-risk academics: All around the world, academics and their families face persecution, imprisonment, violence or even death. Cara has brought hundreds to safety. But many more are still in danger. They need help, urgently, to get away.
The Chemists' Community Fund (the benevolent fund of the Royal Society of Chemistry) has begun a three-year partnership of £120,000 annually for the Cara Fellowship Programme.
