CAOAC 2017 Aquarium Fish Expo 🐟 Canadian Association of Aquarium Clubs

We had a great long weekend at the CAOAC Aquatic Expo featuring a fish show, speakers and an aquarium auction. We met a lot of cool people at the event in Burlington, Ontario. This year the event was hosted by the Hamilton District Aquarium Club at the Holiday Inn. It was a 3 day long event filled with competitive aquarium fish shows, a group dinner, vendor displays and more. It was great to spend time checking out all the contest entries and seeing some other hobbyists dedicated to fish keeping.

This aquarium club event is hosted every year and is a great place to get together with other involved in the hobby as well as check out interesting products and contest entries on display.

There were a few competitions at the aquarium fish event including a biotope class and planted class. We were able to get a few of the winning Anubias plants from our good friend Frank Moreau.

We also picked up a beautiful pair of rams from Mike over at Finatics Aquarium in Mississauga, no trip down south would be complete without stopping in Finatics Aquariums.
