Mini Monster Fish Room Tour 2017 & Mega Build Aquarium Updates

Where have we been? Today we update you on what we have been working on in our fish room as well as a mini fish room tour update of our friend Dave's fishroom.
We always enjoy visiting Dave's monster Oscars and other central and south american cichlids. We hope you enjoy coming along for this mini tour of some of his tanks in his fish room, which we have previously featured on our channel. Be sure to visit our video on Oscar cichlid care or the full fish room tour we did last year to see more on his tanks and fish.
We also show what we have been working on in our own aquarium fish room and the progress we have made towards accomplishing our goal of planting our 75 gallon tank. In this mega build, there has been a lot of work to do to prepare the tank for planting. We have installed our Hydor canister filter and have started the cycling process using ADA Amazonia as the source of ammonia. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks the tank will be ready for planting and for our big cichlid to return to his newly updated home.
We should have more videos out soon as we continue making progress towards our mega build. Our lighting has arrived and Mike made a DIY stand to hang our t5 bulbs. We will go over this in more detail in the future. Today you will get the first sneak peak into how our setup is coming along.
