Trying to delete an old Program Files folder, Windows folder, or other protected folder but getting the error:

"Folder Access Denied"
or
"You need permission to perform this action"?

In this video, I'll show you how to take ownership of the folder and grant full permissions using Command Prompt so you can delete it successfully.

Commands Used
♦️ takeown /F "FOLDER_PATH" /R /D Y
♦️ icacls "FOLDER_PATH" /grant "USERNAME":F /T
