Did you know that in Europe, our odds of beating cancer depend on the country we live in, our level of education, our socio-economic background or our government's decisions?
But it doesn't have to be this way. The European Commission is working hard to make sure we can all live healthier lives. In this video, colleagues from the European Commission Joint Research Centre's Health in Society unit share their vision for a way forward and describe some of their work in the area of cancer and non-communicable diseases with a focus on health inequalities.
