On August 5th, Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston announced a province-wide ban on entering the woods until October 15th. He says this is needed to prevent wildfires. But it is a severe overreach. The travel ban applies to anyone entering the woods without special permission for hiking, camping, fishing, or any other reason. These restrictions violate our ancient constitutional liberties.

Nature lovers should be FREE to responsibly enjoy our forests. Nova Scotia must END the unreasonable, provincewide ban on entering the woods and replace it with targeted measures that RESPECT our constitutional rights.
