Canada First Rally – Toronto | What “Canada First” Means to Me at #20:00
On a scorching hot day, Canadians gathered for the Canada First Rally. The event began with a very large police presence after the organizer received a d**ath threat on Facebook. Officers were out in force to keep everyone safe.The march left from Queen’s Park, headed to Dundas Square, and returned to Queen’s Park. Despite the extreme heat, people on the street showed strong support along the route.There was a brief shouting match between a few non-Palestinian individuals supporting Palestine and the IRGC, and pro-Free Iran participants. One Iranian Canada First supporter responded by telling them to “study your history!”Overall it was a great day filled with interviews, energetic moments, and some funny events.
