I am shocked that I have never been asked this before, but is it possible to copy a key using nothing but a simple milling machine?

Before anyone askes, this is purely done to see if it can be done, and how difficult is it. I am no lockpickignlawyer or expert in lock design but I am quite sure that all that matters for a lock like this is getting the depth and spacing of the notches correct. So if I can measure them correctly it should not be too difficult to make a working key.

Will it be preferential to getting a key cut? probably not, but I have a mill and I had to know if I could do it. This the current key I have has a crack running down it so I did need to get a replacement made ASAP.

I hope you enjoy the video.
