Can you survive 24 hours on a USA Army MRE?
Today I’m putting that to the test by eating only ONE MRE for a full day—no extra food, no snacks, and no extra calories. The only thing I’m allowed to eat is what’s inside this bag.
This is a US Army MRE Menu 1 – Chili with Beans, and I’ll be unboxing every component, using the flameless heater, and giving honest reactions to how everything tastes.
But there are a few problems going into this challenge…
Will the MRE heater actually work with no extra heat source?
Will this be enough food to keep me full for 24 hours?
What if something tastes bad or is spoiled—and I can’t eat it?
If I skip anything… I’m going to feel it.
This turned out to be a lot more challenging than expected.
