I'm happy with maybe half of them? A few were a struggle, and I had the lyrics wrong for Yellow which makes me want to scream asdfkjh (negative vs I get it).
ANYWAY. Work has been oof.
We're getting a heck ton of Christmas stuff. Literally everything is spilling out of the back just stacked in boxes. We have massive piles of boxes and can't reach to stack more, so things just get yeeted to the top. There have been a few minor avalanches, and one of our managers got injured unloading the semi-truck because of falling boxes... so yup. Every time it seems like we made progress and there's some empty space, a new truck shows up that is 100% full.
We also had three new employees at one point. One guy quit after orientation, and all three quit before I could even meet them!!!! XD
The guy was a stockman, and the two others were on register. They just noped away. We do have a few other new employees, but we're really understaffed with how Christmas is coming in. They actually had some people from other stores come in and help for like four or five days, and the higher-ups helped open things. One of my coworkers was like, "Whoever did this (order so much Christmas) better not still have a job." XD
ANYWAY. Work + Chemistry. Not a good combination.
I'm awful at chemistry, so it's not going too well. I mean I have a B in the class, but for the midterm... I knew about 2/3 of what was on it. Like well enough to answer correctly in the time limit for the proctored exam. I have just one more exam left and it's proctored. The homework is okay (I bought a Chegg membership to help) and the labs are mostly good! Just struggles.
To go back to the beginning of the month though! First, my mom bought a van. It won't be here for like 6+ months though because cars and struggles. She had to pay the deposit and everything though. Then on Saturday, my Aunt and Uncle flew out from Washington state with my grandpa's new baby Ragdoll kitten. General is now like 6 months old and he's such a baby. I love him.
On the 8th we all went to an art museum, then I went shopping with my aunt, great aunt, and mom. I got too much, but I also got a Stranger Things shirt finally and a Spider-man cardigan that's kinda crazy looking but I love it. XD
My cousin also flew out that night and brought my grandpa's second (!!!) baby Ragdoll! His name is Admiral, and he was so small. He's gotten a little bit bigger (4.7 lbs).
On Friday night, a few of us from work went to Applebee's. It was a lot of fun, but they were talking about crazy times and like 'everyone had them' and I'm like.... Not me. My best friend lives 6 hours away and I was homeschooled through high school, so just living a chill life with fanfics, family, and editing YouTube videos. XD
On the 11th, my mom, dad, cousin, and I went to the art museum (second time for me). Later that day, my grandpa took his older kitty (Catsanova) to the vet because he was having trouble breathing. He ended up choosing to say goodbye to him that night.
On Monday I went to the mall with my cousin, and we had a lot of fun. Trying to figure out dinner was a big hassle though because my grandpa was like "I'll meet you guys" so we were trying to figure out somewhere he would want to eat. Then like 5 minutes later he was like, "I don't want to go anywhere, you do what you want." So then we got a table at a restaurant and invited my brother, but my brother was still working. Then after we got out drinks, my grandpa calls us and wants us to come to his place for mac n' cheese. So then I had to order my food to go and we went to my grandpa's and I was like askdfjhakdfjhdsf We had to call my brother and tell him not to come. Could that have not just been the plan originally? It would have been much cheaper for me. X'D
My cousin left on Tuesday. On Friday that week, I went to stay at my brother's place to house/cat/dog sit for two days while they were out of town. I played Pokemon on his Switch for like 5 hours total (probably why I didn't do very well on my Chemistry midterm asdkfjh).
I got new glasses on Thursday, which were really freaking expensive considering we have insurance for them. My eyesight got worse since 2018 when I got my last ones. On the 25th, I saw Running the Bases and Bullet Train with my brother. Bullet Train was more violent than I'd want to see, but it had a lot of funny scenes.
Hopped between Stranger Things, Avatar, and BNHA fanfics this month.
Also.... my best friend got engaged!!!!!!! On the 28th!!! Her wedding is December 10th, and I'm a bridesmaid. I'm really excited, but trying to figure out work schedule stuff.
