We often group people by ethnicity or religion in ways that can be deeply harmful. Elle Griffin argues for redefining culture through our interests and activities, from gaming to yoga to political organizing. These "mini-cultures" could help us build a future where people can opt into environments that actually fit them, rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all culture onto everyone.
