If you don't know Mk.gee, I'd heartily recommend checking out his music, his latest album 'Two Star & the Dream police' has been on heavy repeat now for a while
On his single 'Rockman' which I can only presume gets the name from the Tom Scholz 'Rockman', is a really vibey track , with that signature sound
I used CLN2 here with both sliders max (max compression) and then added a tiny bit of slap delay (that's what i was hearing at least) and some plate verb, i'm trying to finger pick quite hard here as i think that's part of the tone (and the original guitar used of course) that compression twang is magic
I used my Gretsch g5260 baritone, but you can play this one in standard tuning if you really wanted to
