My most EXPENSIVE budget guitar (was it worth it?) @paulbradshawguitar

Here's my Vintage v52 Icon telecaster, a 240 odd euro guitar I bought used at the time in which I easily put over double that amount in upgrades in

List of mods:
Neck Refret
Haussel TE-Broad Bridge pickup
Haussel TE-Broad Neck pickup
Dynaguide string tree
TUSQ Nut
PIO 0.01uf cap
and professional setups

I tried other pickups over the years as well (Dimarzio twang king in the bridge for example) which all add up to the cost, but no regrets =)

For me the Haussel pickups really brought the best out of the guitar, which already sounded great off the bat, various upgrades can make all the difference, the TUSQ nut here especially when i had it changed was huge, and more recently the refret transformed the instrument

$Better Clean tones with High output pickups - Fractal Axe Fx 3 / FM3 / FM9 Some ideas on how to best shape and control the sound of your high output pickups, to get nicer clean tones this is done on the @fractalaudiosystems FM3 , but can certainly be applied to other modellers (Line 6 Helix, Neural DSP Quad Cortex, Fender Tonemaster, Boss GT series, Mooer, Nux, etc..)
