So, can the Lumix S1RII alleviate moire issues? The answer isn't black and white, but to put it simply...Sometimes.
The resolving power can help with moire reduction, depending on your distance to the subject. In this video, I show how well it handles moire at close distances to the subject.
UPDATE:
Unfortunately, I just completed another round of testing, filming the same jacket from a further distance. This distance is misaligning with the sensor array in a pretty significant way, causing bad moire. Due to this finding, I will be creating an update video showing how it performs at other distances. It's still good to know that it works this well at closer distances.
Notes: I shot in 4k 60fps APS-C across all cameras since this mode is most prone to moire in the S1H and S5II. The clean results in the S1RII are not limited to just 4K 60fps APS-C.

Sometimes I just get the itch to take my camera for a walk. For this one, I stripped it down naked. No external monitor / recorder, no vmount. Just the camera, a strap, and my hands.
Captured with the Lumix S1II in C4K 24/60p ProResRAW internally. Shots in 24fps are captured
using Dynamic Range Boost.
This was the first time I took the prototype Kolari Clip-In OLPF filter out of my testing zone and into the wild. I cannot wait for the final filter to arrive! The prototype only works in S35 mode (its a smaller piece of glass). The final filter will be full-frame compatible.
