Here is a recent workaround I discovered help with the rolling shutter issues found in 16x9 and 17x9 24fps modes on the Lumix S1RII.
By shooting in 48fps + 360° shutter angle (1/48), you will see the same exact motion blur and cadence as if you shot in 24fps + 180° shutter. Obviously, you must keep the footage realtime in your project timeline, not slow motion.
