With the release of Backrooms and the Lost Tapes from Regular Show, Today I wanted to go ahead and talk about what would happen if Mordecai and Rigby glitched out of reality seemingly, and somehow ended up in the backrooms. This may seem like a random scenario to put these guys in but if you’ve seen Regular Show yourself you guys know that this would in fact be considered a random Friday night for these guys. Now before we talk about “how strong” the backrooms are, let’s mainly talk about what the backrooms actually are. The story revolves around A-Sync Research Institute, which develops the Low-Proximity Magnetic Distortion System, a technology that opens portals into an alternate space known as the Backrooms Rather than simply being a supernatural location, the Backrooms are portrayed as a vast, non-Euclidean dimension with strange physics, impossible architecture, and occasionally dangerous entities. The series is presented through found footage, research tapes, security recordings, and documentary-style videos, giving it an analog horror type aesthetic. The Backrooms themselves because of it being a different subspace and something of an enigma it does not follow a geometric logic. Level 0 or pretty much the Backroom's spawn point has an infinite amount of doors or openings to take you into different parts of the backroom. This entity is called Bacteria, and is definitely one of the weaker beings in this verse. There's also a roller which while accelerating can hurt humans significantly. Entities like number 3 and 5 can hurt people and crush human bones, and these two in specific give me the creeps. Entity 8 has a knife-like bite and with its saliva it can actually turn other humans into this hound like creature. Entity 67, Sanguine Festivus (Often shortened to SFV) are humans infected by a viral pathogen. That being said, let's stop to look at where the Regular Show crew typically is at. With Death Kwan Do, Benson's rage, or other methods within the series, you can say that Mordecai and Rigby along with the crew generally have city block to small town level durability and ap. Though with AP this is like mainly when Benson or Muscle Man are mad specifically, the crew themselves typically aren't all that powerful. Of course due to this being Regular Show though there are a bunch of dumb ways to suggest the Crew is much stronger, like when Mordecai and Rigby somehow survived a universe threatening clash. This is quite literally the equivalent of throwing Yamcha in that clash with Goku and Beerus back in battle of gods. They can survive a lot more than they can dish out for sure, but when they have everything or everyone in their arsenal, they can take on some powerful threats. The Fists of Justice helped defeat one of the deadliest threats in the universe, The Baby Ducks with the crew can legitimately cause significant damage to the Moon, and weirdly enough they output more than enough energy to wipe out the very planet. Pops himself of course is capable of defeating Anti Pops who is a threat to the very universe, and we know at least the universe itself is infinite in Regular Show. So this does give Pop Universal attack potency with Infinite combat and reaction speed, since he’s able to compete with a threat that was going to destroy an infinite sized construct in a finite amount of time. Of course with items like The Power they're able to warp reality itself and make whatever they want pretty much happen. Running at normal speeds is a no go for the crew here, especially given that these entities know their way around the Backrooms. This THING right here moves at 50 miles a damn hour. Do we think Muscle Man is out sprinting this bro? Actually he might if he wants to talk. They also would definitely eventually go insane if they don't find a way out in time, given they've done something similar to each other when in Space. As far as the creatures I've mentioned, the crew seemingly has a good shot in actually trying to get but… there are in fact many more entities that might just make this mission completely impossible. With that being said I feel the crew is simply not only as strong compared to the top tier Entities in the higher levels, but the park crew themselves are just not all that smart besides maybe Skips and more than likely would lose their minds before reaching any of the seriously trippy levels. And so they'd sadly fall one by one, and before we knew it, The Park Crew also fell victim to the enigma that is.. The Backrooms.
