The question most people tend to ask is whether you can use a prologue, and/or epilogue. In this video I discuss the topic alongside my own use and experiences with them.
In some cases, a prologue can be helpful, but for others it might hinder the start of your book (not something you want to do if you're trying to bring in new readers).
Epilogues can also be a useful tool as well, for rounding off a story or bringing in a cliffhanger! Something I need to investiage myself and dig around for some more writing advice on.

I finally complete my first draft of Disarray with the help of writing sprints and having the camera switched on to focus. It was the goal I set out to achieve at first by June, with the extended date of July, so Im happy to have finally gotten to finishing my novel! Next step: Edit it to pieces while keeping up these writing vlogs and sprints for authortube.
Apologies for the light change, the sun decided to disappear for a bit!

In this video I discuss some elements of a novel for when writing for post-apocalyptic books. Thinking about your common cause can help you plan and shape your world, with the aim of developing realistic fiction. Of course, this all takes time, but I believe is a necessary part of the process when writing in the post-apocalyptic genre! Again, this is only my opinion and advice, so take it all with a pinch of salt - I just hope it helps with your creavite process when making and shaping your characters, book and world.
