This chapter covers the rest of disc 1. Before heading to the temple, I went to Wutai, since I wanted the Magic Shuriken for Yuffie. It has an attack stat of 64, a whopping 27 more than anything else she currently has access to. That means I had to do the Wutai quest, and I bought a total of 60 HP Plus to be able to keep enough for Rapps, something that turned out to be completely pointless. The Attack Squads are not worth showing. Just equip Headbands to prevent being put to sleep.
Rapps (0:00) - My thought was that I had to have enough HP to survive Aero3, but then I realized Cloud has the Yoshiyuki, so I won't lose any damage if Barret and Vincent get killed. In fact, I'll just do more, since Cloud deals the most damage in the first place. The Yoshiyuki deals double damage if one ally is dead and triple if both are. Since he's only got 6000 HP, he'll go down in six turns anyway. Just hope he doesn't use Aero3 on Cloud. He can survive it, but then he can't take any other attack.
Red Dragon (1:04) - No problem at all. Not even close. You don't even need poison to stick.
Demons Gate (2:00) - I was worried about this and feared I had to level up a lot, but I decided to give it a try at my current level and see how close I could get. Turned out I didn't have to level up at all. You need some luck, though. Again, you can't lose Cloud, since you need that Yoshiyuki damage. If Yuffie gets taken out, Aerith will deal double damage too, since the Princess Guard has the exact same ability, but her damage is poor, so it's better if you lose Yuffie first. Aerith has Added Effect=Time to inflict Slow, but it took a while before it stuck. If I got it immediately, it wouldn't have been such a close call, but at least it made for an exciting battle.
Jenova-LIFE (3:59) - I wanted to see if I could do it without the Water Ring and yeah, no problem, as long as she doesn't use Aqualung. She's weak to Earth, so I have two characters with Elemental combos for double damage.
Btw, I tried doing the pagoda immediately after Rapps. I got through the first four battles with some luck, but then I got destroyed by Godo, so I'll go do that later instead.

This is where we first run into trouble. Unlike in the Berserk challenge, you cant target the pyramids unless you use a multi target attack. Since I wanted to see how far I could get without grinding for new ones, Tifas first one will have to do. It will choose a random target, even if you only have the first one, so its a little luck reliant. Of course, I could have at least learned Somersault to make it a little easier, but I only needed a couple of attempts before I won.
