Bill Schlegel | Can God Keep a Promise? The Land and People of Israel a Paradigm for the Age to Come @billschlegel1 | Uploaded January 2021 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
The Promised Land is not a desert.
The promise made by God to give Land to the descendants of Abraham (His covenant people Israel) which was observationally fulfilled at least in part in the days of Joshua, is a paradigm of God's promise to give the earth (land) in the age to come (the Kingdom of God) to His covenant people in Jesus the Messiah.
The Land of the Bible is a witness that the events described in Scripture are real events that happened at real places.
Online presentation given to Guthrie Grove Church of God (Pelzer, South Carolina).
