Evergrey returns with their 15th studio album, Architects of a New Weave, released June 5, 2026 via Napalm Records and they made it while losing two longtime members. In this review I break down whether the band's biggest lineup shakeup in years hurt the record, helped it, or something in between. I cover the new sound, the new faces, the highs, the lows, and five key tracks that define what this album is trying to do.
I'm not a diehard Evergrey fan, I came in through A Heartless Portrait in 2022, so this is an honest outside perspective, not a purist take.
