Can Destiny 2 Guardians Make Babies? #shorts. Can Destiny 2 Guardians reproduce and make babies? In the 10 years the series has been out, no one seems to have an answer. Some have pointed out that their anatomy works like in the Hawkmoon missions where the young Guardian Crow has a sleeping bag, a makeshift bathroom, and has stories of being drunk. There is also speculation that some guardians even have intercourse including when Queen Mara summons Lord Shaxx with one of Riven’s wishes where it explicitly says that “the helmet stayed on”.
But, it also seems that these are unnecessary as ghosts can apparently fix and suppress any need for these functions. In the stories of the Drifter, he apparently starved to death many times in the Dark Ages while being resurrected each time. When alive again he maintained that hunger. He even refused help from his ghost who could apparently suppress and fix that need. And a Guardian’s genetics and personality also seem to persist as we have the skills, basic knowledge, and similar capabilities as our former selves even though we don’t remember our lives.
However, my answer is that they can’t or won’t reproduce. Ultimately, Guardians have been around for hundreds of years and none of the stories recount actual blood relatives of those guardians during their time as Guardians.
