A lot of people are saying AI can make Power BI development easy. But is that actually true when the work gets real?
In this video, I test Claude with Power BI MCP on actual reporting tasks instead of just praising it blindly. We start with simple things like creating basic measures, then move into more realistic problems like refund calculations, accrued commission, Power Query parameters, and merge operations.
Along the way, you’ll see where AI helps, where it struggles, and why understanding DAX, Power Query, relationships, and data modeling still matters a lot.
