In this video, I will walk you through a real world business case study of a Learning and Development dashboard created to help a company track and manage employee training more effectively.
I start by explaining how training usually works in an organization, including classroom sessions, LMS based programs, and online learning, and how employee details can change over time using the concept of slowly changing dimensions. Then, I talk about the overall dashboard architecture and the data model designed to bring training data from different systems and data silos into one unified view.
I also cover the key DAX calculations that turn raw training data into useful insights. Finally, I show how everything comes together in a clean, easy to understand, and visually engaging dashboard that clearly tells the learning and development story.
