Can an atheist prove there is no God? No. It's impossible to prove a negative. To prove there is no God requires knowledge of everything everywhere... God may be busy working in the Andromeda galaxy right now. If they see no evidence here, can the atheist go check in the Andromeda galaxy? No. No one can have all knowledge of everything, everywhere. The best an atheist can say is, I do not believe God exists. It's a faith statement. The most anyone can say is they are agnostic, they don't know if God exists.
