Knowing that the Tas Tepeler sites are located near the East Anatolian Fault, and knowing that excavations at for instance Gobekli Tepe have been ongoing since the 90’s, the question that arises is; can these ancient structures like the Pyramids in Giza or Gobekli Tepe and other ancient structures across the globe survive earthquakes with such a magnitude?
