Hydrogen in pure or blended form has immense possibilities as a future clean fuel such that projects are underway around the world to evaluate displacing hydrocarbons.
Hydrogen distribution systems (at times blended with natural gas), compressed hydrogen fuel cells, and even liquid hydrogen projects are in development. However, a challenge is the volume of hydrogen that is needed deliver the same energy to users as conventional fuels requiring significant investment in new transportation infrastructure.
In this webinar, we will discuss the use of ammonia as a possible means to transport significant volumes of hydrogen while maximizing the reuse of existing energy distribution infrastructure.
This webinar would be relevant to anyone considering conversion of current energy demands to a hydrogen-based solution.
Presenter: Jay Norwood, Sr. VP, Pipeline Design Practice Leader, WSP in the U.S.
