Price
Many are concerned about price. Higher priced does not always mean higher quality.Usually the more features a headlamp has the more expensive it can become. Our Light is Under $50. Check it out here store.vitchelo.com/collections/types?q=Headlamps
The Lumen Rating
One of the biggest factors for most is the lumens or lumen rating. The higher the number the more powerful the light, but using only this specification can be deceiving as higher lumens is ssuppose to mean that the light will be very bright and powerful, this is not always the case. This is because the manufacturers usually don't effectively focus the light. When buying the light you should go for a headlamp with a well focus light. While it's recommended that you go for a light with high lumens, you should note that they consume energy at higher rates compared to units with a lower number of lumens. It depends on what yoy are using the light for such as camping its good.
Headlamp modes
Most headlamps offer 2 modes high and low. You cabn also get them that have 3 modes mid high, strobe and zoom.
The high mode is ideal for situations where you need a lot of light. On the other hand low mode is needed is areas that don't require plenty of light such as when doing camp chores or walking an easy trail at night.
The strobe or flash mode acts as an emergency blinker and can also scare away anmials and be easily spotted if your lost or need help. Some units come with a red light mode.
The zoom mode is available only in a few units and makes it possible for an extra-intense beam to be projected for a brief period of time. Although, this mode is very good to see by, it usually tends to drain the batteries within a very short time.
