amzn.to/2rhfhP6 I am quite impressed by the Vichelo Bluetooth Touch Lamp. I was a bit skeptical at first but I must say that once you actually learn how utilize all the functions of this little speaker its actually quite a cool little item.
Pros:
- Looks good and and be placed discreetly in a room without sticking out.
- Bluetooth connects quickly without issue (At least on my Samsung Phone)
- Speaker is pretty loud and the sound quality is decent for listening to music while lounging around the house, at a drive up camp site, or at the beach.
- FM Radio (This is a pro and a con explained in the "Con" section below)
- SD Card ability
- 1/8" Input (quite possibly its strongest feature) knowing I can plug other devices into this little speaker and I'm not just limited to Bluetooth enabled devices is pretty cool. I love this feature the most by far.
- Light it produces is certainly visually appealing and once you learn how to cycle through the light settings its very simple and the touch feature works well.
Cons
- Its a bit big so its not as pack-able as I thought it would be. I do a fair amount of backpacking and hiking and it would be too big and heavy to take for and adventure in the outdoors unless I went to a drive up campsite.
- FM Radio is a pain tune. Unless I'm not understanding how the device works it only "seeks" stations it does not allow you to actually "tune" into a specific station. That can be good and bad based on the amount of signal you are getting from a station. Essentially since I got the speaker I've tuned into a station that I like and I have no plans to change it lest I am unable to get it back.
- Mic input...??? For what?
- The instructions can use a bit of polishing off with the grammar. Its not horrible but its clear that no one looked at the instructions to make any grammatical changes before they went into mass production.
One point of explanation. None of the cons are so bad that it would pause me from purchasing this product. They are more minor annoyances than anything. If you are in the market for a multi function Bluetooth speaker this item can certainly work for you. It has many options and upgrades that certainly make it worth the purchase price.
