My brother retired from work, so we went to The Sierra's to camp, fish, get away from it all for a few days. We camped at Brown camp ground at Mill pond, incase you are interested to give it a try. The river that runs through camp, is a natural creek, ice cold and clean. If you follow it off the campground site up river, it is quite nice and a nice dirt road that meanders in and out of shade trees and desert plants, is fill with wild life. It makes for a very nice walk at sun down. The camp is very well maintained and has a host family living there with a small store and even has showers. A very family orientated camp ground.
