Camping - 3 Tarp Tent Setups, so easy even kids can do it!
In the first setup we'll use a simple tarp to make a Tarp Tent Shelter. This design is great for blocking wind and overhead protection from rain. It's great for camping or backpacking, since it's very light and easy to pack. All you need is a tarp, some tent pegs, cordage and a stick!
In the second setup we'll use the same tarp to make a Windshed Wedge or Lean-To Tent Shelter. This design is great for blocking wind and overhead protection from rain, but it doesn't get too hot. It's great for camping or backpacking, since it's very light and easy to pack. All you need is a tarp, some tent pegs and rope, paracord or other cordage for your ridgeline and guylines.
In the third setup we made an A Frame Tent using a @thegrimworkshop Cordage Maker to take an old soda bottle and turn it into a ridgeline. The tarp we used was the Southern Survival 12' x 9.5' from @Battlbox and we secured it with @NiteIzeInc CamJam cord tighteners.
