Our go-to basecamp location in the Adirondacks has become the Adirondacks Loj and Wilderness Campground. They offer tent sites, canvas platform tents, yurts, cabins, rooms, and lean-tos. There's bathrooms and hot showers available, ice, water and a concession stand - The Hungry Hiker. Plus access to kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking and the Adirondack High Peaks.

This trip we stayed at Lean-To #12, and this is a little of what we got up to.
