Inspired by Guthrie Govan’s solo on Steven Wilson’s ‘Ancestral’ (from his 2015 album Hand.Cannot.Erase.), Elixir Strings artist Cameron Cooper has come up with a supercharged lick passage that will really kick your solo playing up a notch.

Featuring blues-y bends and ear-grabbing chromaticism, it’s an advanced workout, but Cameron breaks things down slowly. So take your time and have fun applying the concepts to your own licks!
