So it was supposed to be a test of the new Sony FDR-X3000 Action Cam. Instead it was a rude and timely reminder of the power of the sea at Sydney's Bondi beach. We were quite a way out and I was testing the camera when a set of four large, powerful waves broke on us. Holding on to the camera didn't help me extract myself from the dumper. I lost my goggles but not the camera. We were a tad shaken after. Been a while since I've had a proper dumping. And I've never been pummelled so far off shore. The camera performed well. Enjoy!
