Here is a video compilation from one of my recent trips to the Peninsula Sub with @ScottKremer29. We had an amazing day out trackside and caught lots of Caltrain action. It is so crazy how many weekday trains they run through the Peninsula. There will be one in each direction almost every 10 minutes. September 21st will be the official switch from the mighty diesels to the new EMU train sets between San Francisco and San Jose. Thankfully, there will still be some diesel action from San Jose to Gilroy as that section of the route is owned by Union Pacific and not Caltrain, thus not electrified. I will be returning soon without a doubt to catch these things once more in action! Enjoy the video!
